In my case, it would be sweet treats for Lucy and Sophie. I’ve made these treats a few times before, and the girls absolutely love them.
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but I didn’t need to at all. I found the pumpkin kept it pretty moist.
- Roll the dough out on a surface such as a counter top. I found putting down a layer of flour helped it to not stick. Take your heart shaped cookie cutter (or any cookie cutter shape you want) and go to town! Cut out as many pieces as you can make. I was able to make 13 cookies.
- Bake in preheated oven until they harden. About 30-40 minutes. Keep an eye on them! I was able to take them out just in time for them to still be a little soft, which the girls appreciated.
I promise, your little poochies won’t be able to get enough of these. The heart shapes will give it an extra touch, so they won’t feel left out on the upcoming day-o-love!
